Gears on a cycle need to be maintained well, with the introduction of electronic gears this has added to the ‘things that can go wrong’. Oggies are experts at getting the gears running well and stopping that annoying sound they make when they are not aligned.
Please Note:
Gears are reliant on the aligment of the ‘Jockey wheels’, if the ‘hanger’ has been bent this will greatly affect the smooth running and may need replacing.
